In this lesson, you learn how to use a command button on the Ribbon and a shortcut key to create a picture of worksheet data, called a chart. First, you open an existing workbook, review a chart and its elements, and close the workbook.

Next, you open and save a second workbook and then use worksheet data to create an embedded pie chart on the same worksheet that contains the data and a column chart on its own chart sheet.


Finally, you learn how to preview and print the chart sheet, the worksheet plus the embedded chart, and the embedded chart without the worksheet data.
