Getting Started with Microsoft® Excel® 2003 Lesson 2: Creating a New Workbook and Building a Worksheet

In this lesson, you will learn to create and save a new workbook. Then you will learn to delete and rename worksheets. Next, you will learn how to enter and edit text or numbers and how to quickly fill adjacent cells with text or numbers. Finally, you will learn how to create formulas and use functions to perform worksheet calculations and then copy formulas into adjacent cells. Throughout the lesson, you will also learn techniques for enhancing a worksheet’s appearance by formatting text and numbers.
