Microsoft® PowerPoint® 2007: Getting Started With PowerPoint 2007 With Lots of Tips and Tricks Lesson 1: Creating a Simple Presentation

In Lesson 1, you learn how to use the PowerPoint 2007 software (PowerPoint) to create, save, print, and close a PowerPoint slide show presentation. You will create a simple presentation that can be projected as a slide show and be used to direct the progress of a staff meeting. Printed handouts will also be created for the meeting’s participants.

You will begin by starting PowerPoint and reviewing the elements of the PowerPoint window. Next, you name and save a blank presentation, insert new slides in your presentation, and apply a colorful theme to the slides. Then, you will add content to the slides, view your presentation in Slide Sorter and Notes Page views, and run your slide show in Slide Show view.

You next preview and print your slide show handouts. Finally, you learn how to modify PowerPoint options and how to get Help when working in PowerPoint.
